Envision this. You see your darling after quite a while at your place and he’s butchering your spouse into pieces with a hatchet. At that exact second, you think about all the lovely recollections you had with him. This is really a scene in the current week’s discharge, CHINAR DAASTAN-E-ISHQ.CHINAR DAASTAN-E-ISHQ starts with beautiful shots of snow clad mountains, streams, lakes (of what looks like Kashmir) with a charming foundation number. That tragically is the film’s highlight which is a finished downhill from that point! In view of a Urdu novel called Jheel Jalti Hai, the film is an anecdote about adoration, scorn, requital, power and so forth. Described generally in flashback mode, it’s an anecdote about adolescence companions turned-darlings, Jamaal (Faissal Khan) and Suraiyya (Inayat Sharma). All’s hunky dory until Suraiyya is made to wed Salaam (Pramod Moutho) without wanting to and Jamaal has no clue about this. Following a couple of days, a tragic episode happens (not uncovering in light of the fact that it’ll be a spoiler) due to which Jamaal begins abhorring Suraiyya. It’s truly not worth educating much else regarding the film’s plot past this point on the grounds that it turns out to be absolutely irregular and anything goes.

Numerous examples are difficult to trust and process in the film and you continue pondering what the heck is going on. You don’t know why Suraiyya’s voice is perpetually melancholy while portraying the story. The film’s length is 112 minutes however it’s such a drag, to the point that you feel it’s a three-hour film. A shots’ percentage are tasteless and jarringly altered. It’s difficult to accept how the film got a U/A declaration in spite of demonstrating a butchered body with blood over the floor.
Just thing great about the film is some unexpectedly interesting minutes.
Faissal Khan, making his acting rebound after numerous years, is not too bad yet hams in a few scenes. Inayat Sharma, Dalip Tahil, Shahbaz Khan, Pramod Moutho neglect to leave any kind of effect.
CHINAR DAASTAN-E-ISHQ is unremarkable. They should’ve called it CHINAR DAASTAN-E-BORE.
